Healing of Body,Mind and Soul

Hi Friends,
Today I attended a talk by Amanda Lindhout and it was amazing. I always thought that it was only Jesus Christ who asked God to forgive his crucifiers for they did not know what they were doing, that is causing intense pain to an innocent human being and committing the most serious form of human crime.

Today I had anew sight in to spiritualism. Amnda was kidnapped with her friend and kept in captivity, abused, torutred and brought to a near breaking point by her captives but she found her ray of light and was able to forgive them and go back to uplift that community of her captives.

Can we really heal our bodies mind and soul?  Yes we can but it takes a Herculean effort. I practice Reiki, hypnotherapy and meditation. Initially I just took up to there to get relief from Astham but realised that I got relief from dysmenorrea which was an acute problem and it was difficult for me to even stand. Slowly my outlook towards life changed. My short temperedness changed in to calmness, health improved and I started viewing life differently. Empathy and compassion came to me easily.

We often hear people taking of soulful thinkink ot saying my soul has been hurt. But slow and surely we can heal ourselves. Ashtang yoga has benefits in healing our body physically. Automatically our dietery habits changes and thereby detoxify our digestive system. Pranayams helps us to breathe easily, calm us and has adirect impact on our circulatory system, reducing blood pressure, improving cardiac and cerebral output making us alert and energetic. Meditation helps us to see and visualise clearly and our mind i.e is our thinking process improves, thus we focus better. The next result is that automatically we become more, empathetic, sympathetic and compassionate towards those who are suffering.

When we go out and demonstrate these qualities appreciation from others flows in and it improves our self esteem. Life becomes more fruitful and our body mind and souls are healed and we feel refreshed and enrgised in a new way.

I hope you all read this and give me your critical feed back

Sucides Is it abetted?

Recently Jiah Khan committed suicide and her boyfriend Suraj pancholi has been arrested for suicide abbetment. My question is that are all suicides  abetted? Sometimes people are unable to cope up with the stresses of life. I have been following the news in print and electronic media.

My views on the subject is as follows. Two grown up individuals get in to a relationship, have concensual sex and live in. They are fully aware of the consequences. Presently the Supreme Court has passed a law that living up couples can file an FIR if a partner is subjected to domestic vilence, can claim maintanece and property.

The concept of living in partenr ship is mutual and it is clear that if the relationship does not work out either of the indivdual can walk out of the relationship. It is not easy to handle such situations because human beings do get attached and when the break up come it sometimes is difficult may be for both or one of the partners.

Being grown up adults one should weigh the proand cons of any action they take. After a living in relationship many accuse the partner of rape is this fair. Rape should be reported immediately and repeatedly if a person has been locked and unable to escape. If person consents then they should accept the consequence. And in any case suicide is not the answer but some people either are weak or extremely stong to take this step.

What follows is that it leaves the nearest and dearest ones hurt and in stress. The need of the hour is good counselling of all indivduals right from the school level and parents, teacher and psychological consellors should be a mandatory requirement at the school level. If a celebrity does this then many a crazy fan can go bezerk and media reporting also has to be discreet and judicious. I hope that this will make sense to some.

Thanx jayashree

Acid Attacks On Women in India

Hi Friends,
Recently we had yet another acid attack victim who succumbed to the injuries caused. Yet it was Preeti Rathi. All over the worl the sale of acid is banned but in the Indian context it is freely available in the Indian mart in retail. The cost is as low as Rs 30 per litre. The Supreme court has asked stated to take adequate action but so far no action is taken

My humble request would be that this is a henious crime and an individual is left physically, emotionaly, mentally, psychologiaclly and socially devastated. the need of the hour is strong and stringent laws to punish the culprit but more important is it's prevention.

Acid should not be freely available and it should be a licenced product. At all levels checks should be done. Police patrolling is of importance and CCTV monitoring. Specialised first aid training should be imparted to all and first aid kit should be available at various important points. Special helpline numbers are there but response to the call is of vital importance.

hi this is my first blog. today i saw the Super Idol Awards on CNN IBN. I was touched and inspired by the fact that so many challenged persons have proved their good work beyond human imagination. It is high time that our government gave them their dues. I congratulate CNN IBN for their effort and also Bajaj Allianz for making them a public successful figures.
